Well here we go everyone... a little something different. Water coloured book marks. The idea was basically to find some little pretty quickies to pop on my craft stall and to sell at Cambridge market. I have used Bockingford water colour paper 300gsm.
The images I have used areas follows... This is where I list the products I guess... well the Poppy I will have to let you know later but the daisy is PSX, the sentiment is Winnie and Walter. The post mark is Crafters Companion.
Other items you will need are
Brusho water colour powders,
Versafine black ink pad,
Clear embossing powder,
Frantage from www.stampendous.co.uk
A pretty tassel
And finally, optional a laminator.
Step 1. cut water colour paper to size required.
Step 2. stamp chosen design.... ( I did emboss daisies with clear embossing powder).
Step 3. with a large brush, paint with clean water a design onto your work.
Step 4. immediately, sprinkle on your chosen Brusho pigment colours and leave to dry.
Step 5. Trim corners if required and sprinkle on some Frantage.
A little tip... when heat embossing Frantage do it from below and hold work in some tweezers. I suggest begin about 30cm below and very slowly (as Frantage sets) raise the heat gun to complete the embossed look.
I stamped my personal stamp on the back.
If you use water coloured card it should not buckle with the heat. However, should this happen popping it into the laminator will complete the thoroughly professional look.
Step 6. Finish with a pretty tassel.
Happy Crafty Making !!!! x
